Holy cow! The first time I check here and I see this. It must be the
dumbest post I've ever seen. Absolute stupidity.

Ah.. you've come slinking out of your hole.
We wondered where you were last week when Harry passed through the
Atlanta
airport.
You can change your shorts now and get back to normal.
Pssst, dummy......Harry didn't have the balls to post his flight info.
Atlanta's airport is huge. But, the fact remains that your post was
the stupidist thing I ever heard.
I came by and reviewed rec.boats to see if it has improved at all. It
is much quieter now that people have decided to ignore the two trolls. It
is funny though watching them trying their best to get a response.
Without a response, those two don't know what to talk about. They make
insults and normally they are ignored. It really is the only way to
deal with the trolls.
I'm new here. Could you save me the learning curve and identify the usual
suspects so I can add them to the cyberfile?

Steve

They're easy to spot, but HK and Don White are a good start. Salty, and
slammer, are nice additions as well. The most these doods do is call folks
names like 3rd graders. If you like play by plays of one getting his septic
tank pumped, then leave HK out. ;-0 That was riveting reading.

I think Mike's posts here speak for themselves. That's why I filtered
him out of my newsreader.

Your tide is a daily thing. The drop in western lakes is probably
going
to just be forever. When they built the dams the rivers were flowing
wild and the valleys filled to 300-400 feet behind the dam. Now the

is using water a lot faster than the river can put it back so the
lakes
are drying up.
Add to that, a drought. Just this past week, Schwarzenegger declared a
drought emergency.
As the old margarine commercial used to say,
"it's not nice to fool mother nature".
You guys tricked the desert into thinking it was prime river bottom
land and now nature is striking back.

We have enough water. But agriculture is big political lobby powers and
get subsidized water that grows subsidized crops. About $9.50 an acre
foot for water. Homes pay about $250 and acre foot. And the farmers are
reselling the $9.50 water for $200 to Los Angeles water. And Ag uses 80%
of the water in the state, to supply about 2.4% of GDP and employment.

In the US, I believe farms produce 100% of all of the food we eat. What
is your is you over feed lawn producing except run off that is polluting
th environment?

Lots of the ag water is wasted. So cheap they flood irrigate. Grow rice in
the middle of the Cadillac Desert, Grow subsidized cotton with the
subsidized water. My lawn puts O2 in the air, enhances life, and gives a
place for the neighborhood dogs to take a ****. **** you normally find with
the lawn mower or your shoe.
