Common sense prevails

As per my posts from last month about my treatment by Citibank over interest on my mastercard...... today my March bill arrived with $1.84 more interest. *I quickly called up & asked what will it cost me to clear this folishness up & cancel my card. the nice clerk immediately waived the $1.84 interest and passed me on to a supervisor. After hearing my story, she apologized and immediately offered me a $25.00 credit and informed me that the $39.00 yearly fee would be squashed. Only bad thing... my interest rate jumps from 12.9% to 19%........ I agreed because I don't carry balances on my card. I may...or may not use it anymore..I'll see. Well, isn't that special. |
