As per my posts from last month about my treatment by Citibank over
interest on my mastercard......
today my March bill arrived with $1.84 more interest. I quickly
called up & asked what will it cost me to clear this folishness up &
cancel my card.
the nice clerk immediately waived the $1.84 interest and passed me on
to a supervisor.
After hearing my story, she apologized and immediately offered me a
$25.00 credit and informed me that the $39.00 yearly fee would be
squashed.
Only bad thing... my interest rate jumps from 12.9% to 19%........
I agreed because I don't carry balances on my card.
I may...or may not use it anymore..I'll see.
Citibank is another of those badly managed oversized banks. The feds
ought to let the damned banks fail, take them over, and sell their
assets to teams of execs who can run a bank properly.
Well, the "Feds" are now sponsored by Obama.
Your wish won't happen.
I thought the great Robert Rubin was at the helm of Citibank? Wasn't he
one of the Democrat's wonder boys. Why did he resign from Citibank's
board so abruptly?
