Default This must be OT; it's about BOATS and my new North River Tank

I've been working on my new baby for nearly two months - weather
permitting. And I just got back from our first date on the California
Delta. I spent three days and two nights at Brannan Island near Rio
Vista, Ca. Day one was just some slow cruising to get the Suzy 90
broken in, and yesterday and today I fished for sturgeon aboard my new
beauty.

I think she likes her bottom wet! I like sunshine and no wind, and we
were both very pleased with this first trip together. I had a visit
from Fish & Game yesterday and today Solano County Sheriff's boat
patrol dropped by to see my safety gear. Everyone seemed happy.

Great shots Dale.

Looks like you had some fun and glad the boat is performing up to your
spec's.

Surely you didn't trailer it a long distance with the top up.

did you?

Tim,

I did tow with the canvas up - but that's what the mfg says is proper
if the side Eisenglass windows are attached. that keeps the wind out
and they say that's just fine. I haven't yet had the top down at all!

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Rag top cars have gone 150 or more. Canvas is canvas, but boats often
have tops with **** frames.

I remember as a small kid riding in the back seat of a 50s vintage Ford
Victoria convertible with my godparents. We were cruising along (don't
know how fast) and I asked them how the top went down. Before my god father
could stop her, my god mother flipped down her visor, grabbed the lock for
the top on her side and said, "You just pull these down", as she pulled it.
The top lifted on that side, the air caught the top and flipped it straight
up. The driver's side lock ripped the screws right out.
