Haven't you been paying attention? What Obama says means nothing, he
is still in campaign mode. The whole idea of this commisson is to take
away the free choice of half of the country who did not vote for
Baralolypse...

Yeah, damn it. He's been in office two full weeks, he should have all
of that most credible ex president Bush's screw ups fixed.

Has nothing to do with fixing the economy that Barney Frank and Chris
Dodd screwed up.. BTW you do know that Chris Dodd got a sweetheart
deal from Countrywide and has been looking for his mortgage papers for
6 months now that he promised would be foruthcoming? Anyway, I am
talking about the promises of reaching across party lines, and not
letting lobbyists into his aministration, etc.... It has been nothing
but bull****...

He has reached across party lines to a degree never seen before. Your
party, however, will have nothing of it.- Hide quoted text -

Cite please, he has talked a good game, but the congress won't even
let them introduce admendments...

What? You mean in the White House when Obama effectively said, sit down,
shut up, I won and we are going to do it my way.

Then Obama went to Capital Hill and tried to get Republicans to sign on
to the election payback bill and he did such a great job with the House
members that he came away with a big fat goose egg. Obama is proving to
be a lousy uniter.

------
I will not mention the names, but know of at least 2 US firms that saw this
coming and is going to close the union plants outright. All are on 60 day
notice. One is larger, about 2000-3000. Once they are closed, remaining
operations are union free and the word is you will close if managemnet gets
wind of a unionization attempt. They don't need the manufacturing capacity,
and have offshore non-union capacity, the union has zero barganing power.
Kind of slit their own throats with past demands. One plant was
steelworkers or something, and the employees feel betrayed by the union as
they are just folding. LOL.

Also looks like CAW/UAW don't get 95% pay for bench slacker time come
Monday. That certainly needed to go.

Now would not be a good time to strike. Does not mater what Obama signs.

And acting like an emperor. Executive orders? How about letting the people
elected to make laws pass a bill supporting the unions as the unions desire
and then Obama can sign the law into effect.

Speaking of which, have you figured out which continent you live on
yet? Or were you too busy fetching beer and wine for your son to study?
