That'll fix the problem
Obama says 18 billion in Wall St Bonuses last year were "outrageous",
what a man of courage for pointing out the obvious. He says he'll have a "conversation" with em about it. That'll teach em a thing or two. |

How would you start, by killing them all? Open dialogue is a good thing. It beats the hell out of being secretive about everything you are doing, like Bush/Cheney! |

The TARP money was given to the Secretary of the Treasury directly to pass out as he saw fit. The President Bush and Obama have no authority over how that money is spent except to talk to the Sec. Treas. Didn't Paulson pull in the CEO's of the largest US banks and coerce and force them to sign up to accept TARP money. The CEO of Wells Fargo said he didn't want or need the governments money and Paulson strong armed him into signing. The government has effectively nationalized the US banking system. |
