Golf balls roll much further when the ground is frozen. Also, it's possible
to put balls out of saturated sand traps that are frozen. And, hitting a frozen green can be just like hitting a paved cart path. Lastly, when there's little wind, golf is very playable when the temp is in the low 30's. |
