Hey, is that one of them four-thirds outboards hangin' off the transom? And
being used by working professionals? Imagine that.

Here's a best of 2008 challenge from the Nikonians Landscape Forum. You've
got to wade through some junk, but there's some real nice work mixed in.
I've added seven of mine that will look very familiar to you. You might
want to check back later in the month as well. The really good stuff tends
to get sandbagged until the end of the month.

How long did you have to wait for the moon to come up?

I guess you were talking about the homeless guy, it is a great emotional
photojournalism shot. The 7th shot for me was a foggy fishing boat.

I enjoyed most of them, but the B&W sparrow and the B&W mother and
daughter shots were ones I wished I had taken.

I just added that site to my favorites.

It's ok - there's some images in there that I like, but most have a
very over processed, commercial feel to them. There are a lot of
images that are tone mapped and some have a heavy hand with it.
Processing is fine - I'm all for it as you know, but there is a point
where you over do it. Subtle is good - glaringly obvious isn't.

Plus, one can only look at the Grand Canyon so many times before it
gets a little boring.
