Hey, is that one of them four-thirds outboards hangin' off the transom? And
being used by working professionals? Imagine that.

Here's a best of 2008 challenge from the Nikonians Landscape Forum. You've
got to wade through some junk, but there's some real nice work mixed in.
I've added seven of mine that will look very familiar to you. You might
want to check back later in the month as well. The really good stuff tends
to get sandbagged until the end of the month.

That B&W of Antelope Canyon yours?

If so, I told you so. :)

By the way, there is one shot I'm highly suspicious of - the forest
image with the blueish tone and green leaves.

I've seen that one before - I know I have.

That Jousha Tree shot is one of my all time favorites.

Nice selection.

By the way, you Nikonians shoot anything other than Oregon coast and
SW US? :)

Hmmm. There's no B&W of Antelope Canyon . Although there is an outstanding
B&W of Monument Valley (post #54 by Jose Andres). It's simply amazing, but
for the life of I don't understand why he didn't either clone or crop out
the people standing in the lower right corner. It's a significant
distraction and it would have been such an easy fix.

I can't tell which post you're referring to re the forest image. Maybe you
could respond with either the post # or the poster's handle.

Mine are toward the end, at least for now. Others will follow as time goes
on. Posts 63-69, although they might get renumbered in time as some posts
are deleted. Posted by russg. You've already seen all of mine.

I'm not sure how you found that, but using the search engine, I found it as
well. That's a very nice rendition. Compare it to mine on page 99 of the
ebook. Same location, slightly different angle.

That's an interesting image. I t was posted in one of the earlier
challenges this year. I like the side lighting on the leaves. It's a nice
contrast to the purple ground cover.

I guess you were talking about the homeless guy, it is a great emotional
photojournalism shot. The 7th shot for me was a foggy fishing boat.

I enjoyed most of them, but the B&W sparrow and the B&W mother and
daughter shots were ones I wished I had taken.

I just added that site to my favorites.
