I don't think you get it. I *like* some "Chrismas music." In fact, there
are dozens of examples of religious music, Christian and Jewish, that I
enjoy.
It's the unctuous religious sliminess of Herring I find offensive.
Well, here. Here's a special holiday dedication, just for you.

Is that you on the Zildjians?- Hide quoted text -

How do you know they were Zildjians? There are several other good (and
some better) makers. Google should have come up with more than one.
Poor Loogy doesn't even realize how many "Zildjians" make cymbals!- Hide quoted text -

Say what??? Try again. I asked Harry how he knew they were Zildjians?
Are you as dumb as he is and don't realize there are many, many makers
of cymbals? And do you realize that Zildjian makes more than just
cymbals? Maybe you should leave the googling to your lover Harry.

???

There are many makers of cymbals that share the name Zildjian,
Liarboi.

Loogy is asking *me* questions? I don't read his posts, and he doesn't
have the brain power to send them via telepathy.

Harry,
Speaking of Goggling.

How is your search for a penis extender coming along?

Why, Reggie, are you shopping for someone to service your backside?
If so, I suggest Loogy.

LOL, Harry you have to admit it really was funny. You thinking Tom's
political blog was showing ads for penis extenders to everyone, when
completely based upon your Internet history.

Did you notice that NO ONE else saw an ad for a penis extender, just
you. ;)

I guess they know what you want for Christmas.

Which means nothing.

I don't celebrate Christmas.

What do you want, a large jar of K-Y to accommodate Loogy?

Harry, Don't you exchange gifts on Dec. 25th, if so do you have a name
for it? Maybe Festivus?

If so, I hope you open the gifts on Dec. 23 and not Dec. 25th.
http://www.religioustolerance.org/festivus.htm

I think it is a secular sin to celebrate festivus on the wrong day.

Even if you don't like classical music, you will like this. Sort of like
the 1812 Overture. Make sure you listen to the slow repetitive build
up to the crescendo.

This song has particularly memories for me because I had a college gf
who liked to put on Pictures at an Exhibition when she would want to
"cuddle". She would insist we make it last to at least the Great Gates
of Kiev.

I am sure this falls into the Too Much Information category, but I
thought some of you may want to try this out.

Very good stuff! I really like the tympani (kettle drums). I played
them in high school orchestra. It isn't easy to be on pitch with them,
they are adjustable with a foot pedal, but you have to have a real ear
for pitch.

Thing I remember most was during a junior high school performance of 1812
Overture the tympani cannon shot sounded more like a beebee gun. Head
split. Since I played brass, my bad notes were just bad playing.

Nothing matches a real cannon for the crescendo. ;)

Yup. Nukes.

But, the Telarc 1812 would be a close second. It has to be the original
1979 version...the one that causes these kinds of comments.

OK, so I went searching in a vain attempt to acquire some couture. This is
what I found. It *will* let you know if your sound system incorporates
enough 'warmth'.

The ending is great.

I am sorry, I didn't know it was a sensitive issue. I would never make
fun of someone's religious, atheist or agnostic beliefs, that would be
extremely rude.

I have always wondered why the Christians got all the good holiday
songs, and we got stuck with "draddle draddle"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ms_j...eature=related

It could be worse, when was the last time you heard a really good
holiday song for atheists?

John has really helped some people get into the Christmas spirit with
all of his music links, don't you think?
