Right. *He's just a normal, regular guy.

Probably pretty normal as far as pols go.
Fitzgerald is after him, and this might be a replay of when Jim
Thompson, a fed prosecutor, went after Gov Otto Kerner and
nailed him for some typical pol influence trading. *Then *he* became
the gov.
Most of these guys in office are dirty.
Put a tap on Dodd, and you might be surprised his public persona
is a load of crap. Or maybe not.
Where I draw the line is personal profit and endangering/screwing the
public.
There was Sec of State in Illinois who died - maybe 30 years ago.
A guy cleaning the dead pol's hotel room found a suitcase stuffed with
almost a million in cash. *It became a big joke around here.

That was Paul Powell. When people were renewing their drivers licenses
etc, they would make their checks out to Paul Powell instead
of :Secretary of State" and he'd get them and cash them.

hey, they were made out to him, eh?

Here's the BEST part - the Youtube interview has been pulled - can't
find it anymore.

Ah yes - the smell of hope and change - plus politics as usual.

Heh, heh, heh... :)

heh heh.
I looked it up to refresh my memory. Shoebox with 800 grand.
It was actually in a bunch of different containers, but shoebox is
what the press went with.
I remember thinking it should have been me cleaning that closet.
Set for life.
Nah, I would have turned it in to the great folks of Illinois.
Heh heh.

LOL, I think those of you on the right, are going to be just as
disappointed as those of us on the left, were at the last Fitzmas party.

The above link, seems to confirm, Obama didn't play ball. And, so far, I
haven't seen any evidence that *Obama* had any contact with the governor,
making his statement truthful.

You should have gone to college and learned how to think mo' betta'.

Gee. Do ya think Blagojevich went to college?

Idiots.

Check out that hair piece he wears.

Damn thing must have cost a freakin' fortune.

Wonder if he'll wear it in prison. It does make him look sorta cute.

If not, maybe you could use it for fly tieing.

I think there's a bunch of 'vestigatin' going on:

"Both Obama and Blagojevich got extensive money and support from Chicago
businessman Antoin "Tony" Rezko, who is awaiting sentencing after being
convicted in June on charges of using clout with Blagojevich's
administration to help launch a $7 million kickback scheme."

Usually where's there's smoke, you will eventually find fire.

The big question is whether the media will report it. Last night we watched
the story on CBS (I think) After about ten minutes on the subject, my wife
asked if the guy was a Democrat. The word had not been used. Imagine how
often the word 'Republican' would have been used if it could have been.
