Weird....tiny URL bombed. Maybe this will work: http://publish.vx.roo.com/rasmussen/...0&Format=flash Seen him many times on Fox news. You should widen your horizons. --Vic I've tried a couple of times, but, seriously, it is so obviously biased, I break out in laughter every time. Most of the mainstream outlets are a bit more subtle. I'm just writing about the "news" programs on Faux. Their commentators, such as Hannity, O'Rally, and soon, Beck, are just plain trash. |

I really think MSNBC is the laughing stock of any sane person. Hey, you can't see Dick Morris make a fool of himself if you don't watch Fox. I'm just writing about the "news" programs on Faux. Their commentators, such as Hannity, O'Rally, and soon, Beck, are just plain trash. They have their news slant, but actually have a better news arm than the other networks from what I've seen. CNN still reigns on the international front. I think Hannity and Beck are idiots. If you can ignore O'Reilly's pomposity - difficult, but doable - he's not bad if you're interested in the subject matter he's discussing. Good polemicist. You actually get different points of view, agree or not. All IMHO. --Vic |

I understood almost immediately. You call O'Rally pompous...I suppose my calling him a gasbag is about the same. My favorite cable commentator is Rachel Maddow. She's very smart, very fast, and very nice. Also very funny. |

And like him, she beats the same drum over and over and over. Booooring. Pretty much like Fox gets on a rag about something. With Olbermann, Maddow and you it's Palin at the Turkey Farm. With Fox it's Eric Holder pardoning Adolf Hitler. Hey, that's what boats, the channel flipper and mouse button are for. Escape from the boring or repetitious. IMHO. --Vic |

Never got that impression, but he is one silly guy. Before he got his own show he was pretty "straight" with the news and commentary. *Now he sets off my "gagdar." --Vic Well, not gay in a sexual manner, just gay... can't explain. Anyway, the guy is like watching saturday night live, except without the clever slant. Never seen anybody so full of **** on "serious" tv.. |

So what? I don't want to have sex with her, I want to be informed a little and entertained a lot by her. And like Maddow, Frank is very, very smart. I prefer *smart* political leaders, which probably is one of the reasons why I disliked George W. Bush so much. Frank also is at the top of the class in providing *constituents with the kinds of services that keep getting him re-elected in his district, and in championing civil right and civil liberties issues. Frank has his faults and has misstepped a few times, but the same can be said about everyone else. I appreciate Frank helping to "out" those conservative Republicans still in the closet who are gay and speak out against gays and gay rights. I've never understood the outright hatred some on the right express for gays.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Hey, at least Bush was smart enough to not have to lie about his education, eh Yale boy? |
