Skip Mohatt was the teacher. He had Polio as a child and probably added an extra factor. He was a giant among teachers. A reason to pay the good ones more, merit pay. He inspired the kids. One of them has gotten a masters in international business and foreign relations and works for the State Department. A kid who might have just gone along working the ramp crew for an airline. What he did to pay for college. Can't have good teachers get recognized. Then the bad teachers will look worse. Any extra money for merit pay should go to union leaders.
