I've already gotten a couple 'Send a card to a soldier' emails which
suggests sending cards to Walter Reed. So, I checked to see if this was
good information. It turns out not to be, although it sounded pretty good.

If you read to the bottom of the Snopes page, you are given a URL for the
Holiday Mail for Heroes program. This is a Red Cross program that will do
the job.
