So that's maybe 500,000 people working for Citigroup. Twice as many employees as GM has. What are these Citigroup employees making? Cars? Refrigerators? Boats? Or are they hauling trash, fixing potholes, building or repairing houses and garages? Maybe they're teaching, doctoring and nursing? Perhaps they are plumbing, fixing furnaces, or running wiring. Could be they are foresting, mining, farming or raising cattle. Driving trucks? Laying and maintaining rail track? 500,000 is a big workforce. That many people can do a lot for the economy. I bet we're gonna really miss them. --Vic |

There are stock brokers, clerical people, customer service folks, lots of IT jobs, loan officers, bank tellers, ATM service technicians, bond underwriters, etc. You'd miss them if they weren't there at all. |

No, I wouldn't miss them. But that doesn't mean I want them to lose their jobs. |

No, I wouldn't miss them. But that doesn't mean I want them to lose their jobs. It's a cycle. |
