Jeanette,
there are some that do, but they are the high buck version. Many
instruments or systems can be configured to output NMEA 0183 sentences
for the infomation that they have and server systems (like old Nexus or
newer NX2) can output almost any of the information that is in the
instrument train.
They and Raymarine both come with a package to do that and a similar
package is available for B&G and Ockum.
