I just found waht may be a good solution for this problem, independent
of Garmin Support, it appears that GpsGate is the solution .. http://franson.com/gpsgate/ The same with the problem with NMEA BWC and autopilot, pheraps it may be resolved with the use of the NMEA Mux. If Garmin do not answer our needs, we must get another provider .... Regards "Meindert Sprang" wrote in message ... "Pascal Goncalves" wrote in message om... Problem with GpsMap 276C NMEA PORTS 1 and 2 According the specifications found in the Garmin Home Page, the GpsMap 276C has TWO NMEA serial Ports (1 and 2), and these are in addition of another USB port. But when I set one of the two serial ports to NMEA, the software switches the other serial port to NONE, that is, I can not have both 2 SERIAL ports,1 and 2, set as NMEA. But the manual implies that this is possible. The obvious question is: have you contacted Garmin about this? They do give good support. Meindert |
