I am shopping for a couple of 64MB data cards for my 176C. I am finding
"Discount" prices from $70 to $140. Here is the low one: http://www.gpsnow.com/gmdc.htm Here is one more in line with the comon street price: http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories...edatacards.htm And here is the high price leader: http://focuscamera.com/sc/main_item.asp?id=964587990 Average ebay price seems to be around $90. I am all for getting the best deal but that kind of spread makes me a little nervous. Does Garmin make all the cards or are there some after market cards? -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite. You should watch the dates of the cards carefully as this may acount for
some of the price differential. Cards with older dates (ie last years or 2 years ago) should obviously be cheaper than current date cards. If you can, wait until July (mid month). There will be a surplus of
RAM and prices will come down a lot. Likely a 30% to 50% reduction. When buying a Data Card do NOT buy "photo disks", they are too slow. |Garry| On Mon, 19 Apr 2004 19:59:35 -0400, Glenn Ashmore wrote: I am shopping for a couple of 64MB data cards for my 176C.
