Default Searay 250 Sundancer - replacing dead battery charger

I have a 25' Sundancer with no genset and a dead ProMariner-20 12v
battery charger. MarineMax wants $700.00 for a replacement charger.
Can anybody recommend a current replacement model. I've looked over
the Promariner web site at http://www.pmariner.com, at the Flyback
30-3 and the ProTech 1230 models, but I can't distinguish what
criteria would make one a better choice that the other.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How many amps is this thing? $700 is a RIPOFF!

Here's a 12A charger for $69. See my point? What crap....$700.

Why not use:
http://batterytender.com/product_inf...c1635f77351bed
$299 for 20A, auto shutoff, complete. Mount it and swap out the big
clips for ring terminals to fit on the battery switch. Street
discount price is probably $200....

I don't know where we get this crazy idea we HAVE to buy some bogus
"marine charger" from the most expensive marine store in town.
They're NOT submersible and NOT explosion proof, they're PLASTIC
BOXES.
