After whining about needing to upgrade the software (and not having a
macintosh way of doing so) I have to say I love this unit. The charts are as good as advertised. The screen is so bright at night I will need to dim it. I had no problem seeing it in direct sunshine on our cruise this summer. It was aslo easy to plug in marks and routes. If you can get the bigger units (twice the price) you won't be sorry. But it was the best boating purchase I made the past few years. Harlan In article , Terry C wrote: Anyone using Garmin 182C chartplotter have any comments? Is the device really readable in the sunlight? Would you buy again? Any other comments? Thanks, T -- Tro respond, obviously drop the nospam! |
