Reduce consumption of EVERYTHING in the USA by 15%. To do this is VERY
simple! SEND the 15% of the population that is here ILLEGALLY....HOME!
They're using our fuel, eating our food, competing with real Americans
for everything you buy....electricity, water, sewer, housing,
EVERYTHING! Why can't we send them packing? There's a 15% extra
reduction in CONSUMPTION available TODAY! I propose a bounty of
$10,000/head to get Americans interested in accomplishing this goal.
Anyone caught cheating the program will be executed, further reducing
out carbon consumption for the rest of us.

To make sure they don't return, I have a plan for border security that
does not require hiring half the population to stand shoulder to
shoulder with M16s pointed at Mexico. After initial installation, it
requires no maintenance or personnel for 24 thousand years.

The technology exists to glassify the massive amount of spent nuclear
fuel that's so radioactive for the next few thousand years we don't know
what to do with it. I DO! We dig a trench from Matamoros to Tijuana on
our side of the border that's sufficiently wide that no human or animal
can survive climbing across the glass blocks, ever, dying on the spot
from excessive radiation poisoning. Only a few Mexicans and other
Central Americans would die, their bodies left on top of the blocks,
before the rest of them could easily see this is not a way to cross our
border and survive the trip. As noone comes out alive on the other side
of the trench, the Border Patrol only needs concentrate their efforts at
the border crossing checkpoints. A bounty of $10,000 per illegal alien
at the checkpoints insures the now-bribe-taking border patrol agents
would do their jobs, instead of working for the Mexican Mafia bringing
people in.

The gap in the radioactive wall will be very narrow, on purpose. Only
humans in fast moving vehicles with windows rolled up flying over 70 mph
will survive the radioactive dose they must submit to traveling through
the wall. Anyone walking/running/not in a high speed shielded vehicle
will be destroyed....in a few weeks. Border runners will immediately
become non-existant. Border Patrol Agents caught taking bribes will
have two choices. Ask for Mexican political asylum or walk into the
blocks to be executed automatically, no exceptions. Bribes will stop
immediately, of course, or within a few weeks as we pair down the number
of dishonest border guards.

Every American over the age of 16 years old is given a fuel ration card
that plugs into the pump at your gas station, marina, fuel oil delivery
truck, any point that sells scarce fuel. The American Fuel Rationing
System's central planners and computer system will be set to let you
have what ever fuel a board of experts feels we can let you burn this
month, this year, totally dependent on what's available and how long we,
as a people, want it to last. OIL IS RUNNING OUT! This is the ONLY way
we are to preserve some semblance of our way of life. Fuel rationing
and my other fuel saving measures above will immediately cause a crash
in prices due to a huge glut of unsold fuel piling up in massive tanks
across this land. The electronic aspect of the cards allows total
control over the fuel consumed. You can burn it all in 3 days in your
goddamned massive Hummer going 80mph down the interstate....or you can
make it last 3 months in your new Smart Car diesel that burns 3.3
litres/100 km over the mountains of central Europe just tested by the
Italians. The choice is YOURS....and you get to SELL unused credits for
more saving incentives to the highest bidder!

Each citizen over 16 years of age will, by default, be given X pounds of
Carbon Emissions we are constantly bombarded by propaganda about,
instantly reducing carbon emissions in America by any percent we
want...by force, the only way anything ever works with us. We reduce
carbon, greenhouse gasses, and all those other things that have nothing
whatsoever to do with global warming we are being blamed for by the rest
of the planet....immediately. You'll have many choices on how you want
to use your ration, too:

The ration card works on your carbon account for all sources. You may
choose to stay warm buying fuel oil or natural gas, instead of pouring
it into your boat/airplane/jetski, etc. You may choose to SAVE UP your
carbon credits for that dream vacation next year! Your carbon credits
given you each month ACCUMULATE so you may splurge on that trip to the
family reunion or take the train to NYC on a shopping spree. Of course
riding in any public transportation causes you to use carbon credits,
but at a much lower, SHARED rate with the other passengers. You'll
travel very cheaply in a FULL train. It'll be more expensive for your
carbon credits if the train is near empty as you'll have less other
people to share credits with.

Your carbon credits are just like money. If you SAVE up a pile of
credits in your account, charged up monthly by the central computer like
everyone else's, you may SELL or SWAP your credits with some glutton for
serious money, encouraging everyone to save, save, save fuel. If your
17 year old son uses his bike, he can sell his credits to Bubba in the
Bronco for whatever he can get from him at any gas pump in town. He
inserts his card into the pump and clicks the TRANSFER CREDITS button.
The computer asks him how many credits he wants to transfer and he keys
that into the keyboard. Then, Bubba inserts his card into the pump and
clicks the TO HERE button on the touchscreen, moving those credits over
to Bubba's account. Noone suffered from this transaction as you might
think. The TOTAL CARBON EMISSONS didn't change a bit. We only moved
credits from one citizen's account to another, not changing the total
carbon count a bit.

Only citizens may have cards, by the way. No illegal aliens can
purchase any fuels as they don't have a card required to turn on the
machines. Because carbon credits are eaten up buying electricity,
carbon pumped water, etc., only citizens and legal aliens will have
power and water. Legal aliens may BUY credits to use during their BRIEF
stay from our central computer at inflated prices...same as they do in
their country with VAT and other socialist taxes when Americans are
forced to buy gas in Europe or Japan. That's reasonable....(c;

These simple measures will bring our house back under OUR control, out
of the hands of the BANKERS and their friends who have created this
situation to line their own pockets for many years to come. Carbon
rationing will, of course, cause an EXPLOSION in the alternative energy
market as demand for other forms of energy not built into the ration
card....so-called "renewable energy"....will SOAR! Wind farms in the
plains will expand to replace the natural gas and fuel oil fired power
plants that will cause your carbon ration to be eaten up by your
electric bill. We'll suddenly stop this nonsense bull**** against the
nuclear power program that makes my electricity in several nuke plants
in South Carolina, where my carbon cost of electricity will be low.
More dams will be constructed to produce gravity-fed electric power
across the whole country, now that it's too costly to shut down the
hydro-electric projects in favor of cheaply constructing an oil fired
boiler right next to them, such as we have at Santee-Cooper in Moncks
Corner, SC just to the side of the old water powered generators now shut
down and neglected.

But, as Boone Pickens points out, we must take action NOW....not wait
for a few more presidential nominations and $50/gallon gas before
implementing strict measures to make resources last much longer. We
can't afford to drive these damned V-8 SUVs 50,000 miles per year each
any more than we can afford to let Delta Airlines use up TEN BILLION
GALLONS PER YEAR to fly the fatcats to paradise.

Noone will sell a Stinkpotter. Sailboat sales will soar....as well they
should in these trying times. Get over it.

As often as I (usually respectfully) disagree with posts like this, I
actually agree.

And I'm on the side of Darwin. Those of us smart enough to cut loose
from grid on our own should do so.

The least of us here, even Willburr, can survive on far less than the
most impoverished in foreign lands with what we have on hand, nevermind
the "poor" on the mainlands

Let the 80% with no survival instinct perish.
