politely to remove the (stolen) pictures to no avail. You had no right
to them in the first place,so you were in no position to set
conditions for their removal.

I'm curious. Since you're in the photos, you're not their author/owner.
How are you claiming ownership of them?

For the record:

I received either an email or a post here, I've forgotten which, from the oh
so well named Goofball saying, "You could use these pictures." and providing
links. Maybe it was someone pretending to be him but I took it at face
value.

I replied asking which person in one of the pictures was him and he replied,
"It's not the little girl."

I didn't include any information other than his posting handle because
that's all he wanted included on the page and, as I saw it, that was
perfectly acceptable.

I never received any other communication from him, specifically a request
for his entry to be removed.

This whole thread just confirms the validity of my decision to move on to
where people actually talk about boats, cruising, and the systems on their
boats without having to wade through piles of crap like this.
