Obviously fake videos. *NOBODY's hull is that smooth and clean! *There's
not even a blister anywhere! *Look at that prop! *Obviously it has never
been anywhere or it would be dinged up somewhere....(c;

Noone has put a proper commemorative footprint on those new cushions,
either.

It just wouldn't seem right sailing on a boat this CLEAN! *Boats should
look lived in....

I'm glad that you enjoyed the videos. They're a new format for me.
I've always shot stills and now I'm branching out into video. It
takes a LOT of time.

Regarding the prop: the MaxProp just rebuilt by the factory as there
was too much play in it. It certainly looks pretty...now...

And regarding the cushions: Believe me, Bill & I did everything
within our power to keep them from being christened. If you want to
come a christen them, be my guest. Just remember that Sue's on board
now and you'd be risking limb and life! :-)

Today I spent 6 hours replacing my ProSine inverter/charger with a
spare that I had at home. This only required unplumbing the water
maker control panel, removing the hot water tank and then replacing
the charger with the spare. Unfortunately the spare was completely
dead...ARGH! So I had to switch back to the old unit which is having
inverter problems. I've replaced this unit 4 times now. It's a piece
of crap.

Anyhow, tomorrow we shove off tomorrow and begin the trip. Lets hope
that the systems hold together!

I reported here a few days ago about my new charger/inverter. It's a
Charles IQ2300.

The last three days we've been installing it, and, apart from a crappy
instruction manual, it is brilliant! It has inbuilt intuition on when to
charge battery banks or when to supply power, it knows to differentiate
between generator input or shore power.. All in all, a nice bit of kit.

And they're made in Ohio!

I better stay on older boats. I don't do well in the company of neatniks
following me around with their cleaning rags.
