Avoiding Hazards At Sea
Capt. Neal hasn't been heard from for years. Why is everyone still talking
about him? He was thought provoking, controversial, entertaining, and capable of bringing out the very best, and worst, of his readership. I suppose the pressure of being "Capt. Neal" was not worth the effort to him. Perhaps one day he will gird up his loins and re-enter the fray, but I doubt it. He probably has neither the desire nor the strength to reprise the character. Like Pogo, Capt. Neal ran out of material and nothing more remains to be said. |

Neal is still around in his various sockpuppet roles, taking on several male and a couple of female names. He continues to lie, cheat, steal, stalk, and disrupt, all of which are in his nature, all of which he can't stop. He stopped being "thought provoking" 10 years ago. You're right though. Nothing more remains or needs to be said! |
