Default Removing cabin stripe from 1992 Prout

We'd like to remove the blue trim (appears to be a factory applied
decal)that is on the outside of the cabin.
It appears to be adhered to the white gelcoat. Prout is gone, so that's no
help.
This is a panel about 12-18" wide and 40 feet in total length.
Any ideas will help.
