All I want is a new line on all elections - NOTA (None of the Above).

If you don't like this Freemason or that Freemason, as it is now, you can't
tell them you don't like any of the Freemasons listed...from both parties.

I think the USA is the only so-called "democracy" without a vote of no
confidence on the planet to kick the entrenched *******s out if they screw
up.

Why?

Which Freemason are you going to vote for in 08? (Hillary counts, Billy is
32nd degree and she's big wheel in Eastern Star). The only one not in the
cult is Ron Paul, Doctor NO, which makes him ineligible at the Republican
Convention.

Not true at all. John Baez, a non-believer and brilliant scientist shows
you why if you'll look back beyond human existence:

http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/temperature/

Actually, on the LONG scale, Earth is in one of its COLD periods and has
been for 1.8 million years. How are you going to blame humans and their
cars for all these MASSIVE variations the hockey stick Algore love is such
a TINY part of? The Earth is COLDER now than it has been most all its
life, unless you're a Christian school student who is convinced Earth is
only 6000 years old, dispite a mountain of evidence to the contrary....

I can make the temperature rise in my computer room look like a disaster if
I baseline it on the last 5 seconds of its existence with the heater turned
on.....how stupid!

In the last 14,000 years, sea levels have RISEN by 125 METERS and that
trend is nearly LINEAR! How are we gonna blame THAT on coal fired power
plants and those awful Ford automobiles??

Man's effect on global temperature, sea temperature is damned near
immeasurable in the massive changes of the SUN....

That is just the point, Jon, I do not read them specifically *because*
they are from closed minded people with a single purpose - to raise
money for their political party and no other reason. Please Jon, re-read
what I wrote - I don't read political fundraising nonsense and lies from
either party because I do not like being lied to so a political party
can scam me for money or pass legislation that is bad for the country -
is that clear enough? If you think your party is honest, well then there
isn't anything more to say - you be a good boy and go practice your
religion.

For me, I will have an open discussion on the merits of any political
point of view, as long as you aren't going off on a religious rant -
which is what most people do when they speak about anything to do with
the views of their particular party, and is what you have been doing
here. You are not going to investigate anything I've raised a point
about so you will never find out if I was right or wrong, you will just
assume and believe I am wrong because your religious beliefs will not
allow you to consider or even investigate any other point of view. That
is just dishonest and is why this country's political system is in the
shape its in now. After all, why should any politician consider doing
anything honest or good for the country when the citizenry can be so
easily deceived and corrupted, and will keep voting for them time after
time even though they are putting the screws to you and you haven't got
the guts to stop and look at what they are really doing and call them on it.

Well then Jon, you better start reading what Mr. Obama himself has been
writing. If you don't, you won't have anyone to blame but yourself. And
when you find out what has been transpiring, well, I'll bring this
discussion back up to you then.

And calling me a "typical right-wingnut" is what exactly...?

Burning a carload of coal (about 20 tons)
will provide about 20 minutes of electricity in the average 1000
megawatt powerplant (that's the average turnover). Think about how much
coal that adds up to - we now burn about 1 billion tons of coal in the
U.S. to produce electricity. That alone produces 40 percent of all our
'greenhouse' gasses.

All this would ACCUMULATE....IF WE WERE SEALED IN A BUBBLE! But, alas,
WE'RE NOT! The solar wind is blasting the atmosphere with millions of tons
of NEW GASES, continuously.

Case in point:
How much fossil fuel has man burned in the atmosphere since the cavemen
discovered fire? Surely, by now, especially after the Industrial
Revolution poured billions of tons of coal gas into the atmosphere, we
should at LEAST be able to DETECT IT! IT'S NOT THERE....It just blew
away!

another case in point....
For a week after 9/11/01, all spewing commercial planes were grounded
across the USA. Delta Airlines, ALONE, burns 9.4 BILLION gallons of
kerosene every year! That's Billion with the B! Within a DAY, the air
over South Carolina, on the downwind side of the country, was so blue it
looked fake. ONE DAY!

All the cars were still spewing it out, unabated, as America went about its
business. All we had to do to clean the air is GROUND THE PLANES AND LET
THE RICH USE THE PHONES. I've always thought this to be a great idea,
personally, even when I lived on airplanes for the Navy and CG contractors.
Just ground the planes and the air clears right up....without turning off
the power to my house...without choking my cars. Ground the planes Algore
flys on FIRST....then we'll talk...(c;

Actually, I did support nukular energy until I realized that's
actually much more polluting as far as carbon goes. Lots of people,
including me, forgot about all the mining, refining, processing
required. It's not a panacea, and it's only clean at the end of the
process (not really though if you think about the long-term storage
requirements for the spent fuel rods).

There's two solutions already available to cure both the fuel production
problem and the waste storage, long term, killing another huge problem
for the USA in the process, literally!

Fuel production can be cut way back if we let them build the BREEDER
REACTORS that create their own fuel....instead of buying it from big
ENERGY companies own by the politicians and bankers. Problem solved....

I have a great solution for waste storage......

We confiscate a 1-mile-wide swath of land from the Mexican border inland
inside the USA from Brownsville, TX to the Pacific Ocean. We dig a
series of containment pits 1/2 mile wide with no gaps except for very
narrow border crossing points that can be defended from the invasion.
Fuel has already been glassified, which keeps it from eroding away, not
much of a problem in the DESERT along the Mexican border anyways. We
truck all the current waste to the pits and simply dump it in, creating
a radioactive no-mans-land to protect the country from its current
invasion of illegals. Anyone crossing into the country except in fast-
moving vehicles at the tiny gaps simply receives his/her lethal dose of
radiation and dies in the pits to remind the rest of them what will
happen to them if they cross that border! The gaps won't require more
than cursory monitoring, either, because they are so long and so narrow
that you MUST be moving in a vehicle over 70 MPH to limit your dose to
something tolerable. Anyone walking through that gap is DEAD MEAT. Two
problems taken care of PERMANENTLY....We can even take down the fence.

-----------------------------------------------------

BTW, I'm 100 miles, exactly, east of one of our less-than-safe Nuke
stations, Vogtl, on the Savannah River just inside Georgia Power. I've
created somewhat of a stir in the Emergency Services bureaucracies,
here, asking why there is no automatic alarm, for instance, on the NOAA
weather transmitter for nuclear accidents at Vogtl or our Nuclear
Weapons dump in Goose Creek, SC...or our Nuclear Weapons airplane
loading facility less than a mile from my house on the river. The blank
look on their faces is priceless. They have no intention of setting off
any alarms to warn Charleston if we're about to be irradiated to
death....in line with FEMA's plans to enslave us all....

How would you possibly know unless you looked?? The Sierra Club is one of
the most non-liberal of all the environmental groups... hardly Earth
Firsters. The preponderance of evidence says that we're causing global
warming. I've pointed you to a fairly benign source that has some
interesting information, yet you refuse to look. Instead, you make fun of a
political candidate. Seems pretty obvious to me who's mind is closed. I'm
not sure where you're getting religious beliefs, mine or anyone elses, from
me pointing to an interesting website, but I guess that says a lot about
you.
