You must be able to get under the 49 foot RR bridge on the eastern end of Lake Okeechobee to reach the yard. Many (including quite a few Canadians) think Glades is the best hurricane hole in Florida. We had some friends that used to leave their boat there, for the summer, and travel in the motorhome. In the fall they would return and take to boat to the islands for the winter. Leanne s/v Fundy |
