Last I heard they were charging $4 a foot.

Harrah's on the other side of the bridge had a very nice and reasonably
priced marina adjacent to the casino but they closed it. AC is no
longer a decent stop, just too costly.

I've never been to Atlantic City, aside from the cost, is it worth visiting
(by boat)? Is it a nice place?

Nantucket Boat Basin if I remember is $5.00 per foot. So expensive, but is
an awesome place to visit.

Interesting place for a copule of days. It was a good place to stop between
Cape May and New York, You can take the intracoastal to Manesquam Inlet from
AC but yu can't go south to Cape May because of a fixed bridge. Lots of
casions with headliner shows.

It is indeed. Buit you don't have to take a slip. You can anchor out or take
a mooring and use the launches to get around. That option does not really
exist at Atlantic City. The hell of it is that the marina at the Trump
casino is state-owned and should be inexpensive. Trump just operates it.

none to be found at all; but, plenty of overpriced
foul weather gear, topsiders and sunglasses.

I got a Gill Key west jacket for under 200 bucks. Most places have them for
20-30 bucks more and no selection!
I got a Nightstar flashlight for 29 bucks, 10 less than online. There were a
few deals, and a few more if you chatted up the salespeople.

There's a great place to anchor right next to AC. As you're going down
the inlet, before you get to the bridge, the main harbor will be to your
left. But look to your right for a marked cut in the beach. Take that
cut and follow the channel along the left side of the little bay you're
in, past all the houses that'll be on your left, and go back to a second
area opening up to a nice basin for anchoring. You'll be in Brigantine
only a short cab or bike ride from AC. There's a landing area for a
dink right across the street from a shopping center.
