Every intrusion should be vigorously opposed. Otherwise the newsgroup
will be saturated with every little boat shop's specials and unloads
and it will become, very fast, unreadable for its intended use.

This isn't some free medium to sell crap, no matter who is doing the
selling, Mike's Marina and Storage or Microsoft, Inc. Spamming any
newsgroup on Usenet is against every AUP on every ISP on the net.

There aren't many places left where you can chat with people without
being advertised-to-death in the process. This is one, I personally,
would like to see stay that way!
