Not only was that marked on the original sales tag, but it was also
marked on the red sale tag. None of them seemed to notice (or care,
of course). It was a pre-printed Waste Marine tag, right off the

I can't imagine what could in the stuff WM sells that would make it
worth that much...'cuz a quart of lamp oil at my friendly neighborhood
hardware store is $3.29/quart. Prob'ly even cheaper at Home Depot.

It's just plain old liquid parafin. Everything from Weems & Plath is
expensive. They sell 2.5 gallon containers for $32 which it still
higher than you can get it elsewhere but more reasonable.

MODERATED CHATROOM or in an advertiser-supported boat magazine that
