Wow, I had totally forgotten about Rodney Bay, even though we stopped
there. And now I remember why. We anchored outside of the breakwall, went in to check out the place, got a bad feeling about it, and moved on to Soufriere. Completely unscientific, but I rarely get these types of feelings, and when I do, I listen to them. I will also say that while the views in St. Lucia were stunning, the inhabitants seemed to look at every visitor as a meal ticket. The boat boys were the most agressive that we ever found and the town residents weren't much better. No one would take "no" for an answer. I can remember literally having to fight off people who were running along the jeep that we had rented and were trying to get in to be our "guide." St. Lucia is a country that I have no desire to return to. Good luck, because if my experience there is anything like what the boat yard people are like, you've got your hands full! Good luck! -- Geoff (Bill Biter) wrote in s.com: http://www.rodneybaymarina.com/ large marina in St. Lucia. One surveyor is Chris Kellell haven't used him, so can't give comments.
