Abandoned boats are a sore subject at Ft Myers Beach and make good newspaper copy. What happens to them? Are there opportunities for 'poor' sailors to acquire them at a good price... though I expect if they're abandoned, by the time authorities get around to dealing with them, they're not in very good shape, and that good price would have to be, probably, very good. Justin. Bear in mind that there are many boats that are worth FAR LESS than nothing, and so would be a very bad deal even if the owner gave the boat to the "poor" sailor for free. --Alan Gomes |

Probably lines between objects and boat. I guess this answers the age old question what will happen to the person on water skies when he hits your forstay. -- Keith Nuttle 3110 Marquette Court Indianapolis, IN 46268 317-802-0699 |
