Joe,, I never said the woman didn't have "true grit" ..

Well seems she has a goal to accomplish. I don't know any sailor who
has been at sea for many years who did not find themselves in bad to
extreme weather every onece and awhile.

And remember .. she is alone.

I know that. Sometimes it's better to be alone, don't have to worry
about others screwing things up. I admire solo sailors, captains of
their own destiny.

I truely think she has some issues. But that doesn't mean she isn't a good
sailor ..

Everyone has issues. Maybe the best cure for thoses issues for her is
to focus on an extreme challenge.

I just hope she gets home ok,, and figures out why she keeps pushing the
envelope.

I'm confident she will make it home. Some clowns can go out in 3 ft
seas and it's "Pushing the Envelope" of thier skills. Some can sail in
hurricanes, take roll overs, spend countless hours on the helm, before
they feel they are pushing the envelope. Dreams can often become
challenging, but challenges are what we live for.

YOur friends didn't push the envelope and they are on a much bigger boat
with crew..

Well anyone willing to fork out over a million bucks for a french boat
most likely lives a pretty damn pampered life. They IMO rank with most
weekend warriors, seeking bimbos and gin, more than a true challenge
of their skills.

Yo.. Joe Joe..

What is wrong with "bimbos and gin"?

I don't drink but if I did ... bimbos and gin sound like a pretty good
cocktail and doing it on a million dollar boat.

I sense some enviousness in your posting .. no million dollar boat?

Go down and get yourself a bottle of gin..

Bimbos? Now,, that can't be purchased, it must be earned.

Nothing, if thats your challenge to accomplish, just not my thing.

No, not worth a million, but IMO will out preform most million dollar
boats. I'm a bit enviousness, as I was invited on the trip but have to
work and earn a living instead. That and I'm hauling the boat for a
new bottom job ect..ect..here in a week or so.

If we can break away we may meet them in Trinidad later this summer.

Go down and get yourself a bottle of gin..

When I was younger Boodles Gin and Tonic was my favorite...now I get
massive headaches drinking it...guess I'm getting old, or just have
less tolarence for headaches.

No bimbos for me. I've been with my best friend (wife) for just under
25 years now, and would like to have another 25 with her.
