Default LED lighting home projects?

http://www.ledengin.com/ledengin_products.html

My monthly Mouser Electronics email newsletter points to this company's
products they're now distributors for. Ledengin has up to a FIFTEEN WATT,
ultra cool, ultra small LED in many colors!

No sense in paying "them", when you can make your own out of your cheap old
plastic boat 12V light fixtures!

The Mouser catalog page is:
http://www.mouser.com/catalog/629/75.pdf
The brightest LED in a flashlight is in the .5 to 1 watt range. Imaging
how much intense light comes out of one at 15 watts! To compare
brightness, look on a light bulb package at the lumens produced from a 60
watt light bulb and compare it to the lumens generated by these LEDs.

Mouser is great to deal with. If you're stupid enough to pay the shipping
on a 10 cent part, Mouser will happily send you just one...for a dime. No
minimum parts order is but one of Mousers features. Great parts at a great
price....
