Default W70 exhaust manifold

Our Westerbeke W70 engine seems to have leaks in the seals at both
ends (judging from the accumulation of salt underneath them). Can we
simply remove the ends and install new gaskets, or must we remove the
entire manifold? What problems should we watch out for?

We re-did the ends of our W100 manifold and installed new gaskets. Seemed
to go ok but I was told you have to watch out for corrosion in the aluminum.
Sometimes you loose the manifold.

Probably should not have bothered we just bought a new W108 to swap out this
one.
