Default Marine Trader light buld wanted

Hi everyone,

I am searching for an outlet for a 1990 Marine trader Light bulb used in the on
wall brass light. They are 1 inch diameter screw bases much like a household
light, and the clear glass bulb is about the size of a gold ball.

Have tried west marine, lewis catalog and Boaters World.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Try a www.dogpile.com search for "incandescent light bulb" (with
quotes) then check the mfgr's and distributor catalogs it turns up.

Sterling, I think I may have two of what you're looking for, left over
from when I stocked up on 'em for my boat. They're 12v/25w...The base is
1" threaded...however, the bulb is a bit bigger than a golf ball--about
half way between a golf ball and a tennis ball....when I stand it on a
table next to a ruler, it's a little shy of 4" tall, the globe is a bit
over 2" wide. Frosted like a normal household bulb.

Made by GE, RV/Marine light bulb, product code 20574

If they'll work for you, you can have 'em for the cost of Priority Mail.

If they won't work for you, same offer to anyone who can use 'em.

My email is peg(dot)hall(at)sbcglobal(dot)net

I have a box of bulbs very similar to the ones Peggy describes in her reply.
If what she describes are what youare looking for, let me know. I probably
won't give them away but I'll certainly give you a very sweet deal. I have
at least twelve of them.

I saw some of those in Lowe's last night, so probably Home Depot
has them too.
