Roger ,, I remember reading about Donna Lange some time ago.

In her biography section of the web page it mentioned a bad auto accident in
which people died.

Did she cause the accident? It almost seems like she has a death wish.

Surviving the conditions that killed Ken Barnes' boat and dream makes her
look pretty good but that's probably just a matter of the big 44 footer
hitting one of those oddly shaped waves that are out there. She's living

dream with a fraction of the boat, money, and experience that most of use
would consider the bare minimum for sailing to Bermuda in the summer, let
alone Cape Horn.

What a contrast to the folks like the one who clogged up the Ken Barnes
thread with contemptuous comments after whining to all of us about how
difficult single handing around Maine was in a bigger boat than this lady
has taken trans Atlantic and to the great southern ocean.
