Was going to get a nice 3 piece weather station to hang in the boat
and then got to thinking about those home type stations.
Sat time, pressure history, indoor, outdoor temps c or f , indoor
humidity
Why not?

In this months issue of National Fisherman there is a small bit on
Furuno's new weather station/GPS unit. The sending unit does not have
any moving parts so no spinning little cups or twitching pointer. Looks
like a cool bulit proof unit.

Check it out........ I am

I've had a Davis wireless for about 5 years and love it! It's great to
be able to carry the console around to wherever you want it on the
boat, or even the dock. It is very flexible, provides lots of
information, and is easily calibrated.

I saw one advertised the other day that was $299 Cdn. It was wireless and
included most measurements. Don't recall the vendor but the unit was
supposed to be made by Honeywell.
I think $299 is less than the Davis unit?

I stand corrected. It was $299 US but the manufacturer is Honeywell. The
vendor is SpeedTech, the folks that make the hand-held windspeed meters.
