The sending unit does not have any moving parts so no spinning little cups or twitching pointer. Looks like a cool bulit proof unit. Check it out........ I am |

I've had a Davis wireless for about 5 years and love it! It's great to
be able to carry the console around to wherever you want it on the boat, or even the dock. It is very flexible, provides lots of information, and is easily calibrated. |

Don't recall the vendor but the unit was supposed to be made by Honeywell. I think $299 is less than the Davis unit? |

The vendor is SpeedTech, the folks that make the hand-held windspeed meters. |
