Hi, my Volvo MD17c 36hp is at the end of its life and I'm able to for a
very good price install a 70hp Ford. Should I derate this and do you
think its not a good idea to install such a big(as in hp) engine. I did
notice the boat could have done with a bit more power and was planning
on a 40-50hp. The yacht is a Roberts 37 and weights about 10 ton.
