Default Boat transport across US

Hi,
Could anyone give advice and approximate costs of transporting a 40 foot yacht
from Florida to California. It is presently in Trinidad on the hard. I am trying
to avoid single handing it from their to the Panama Canal.

Regards
Peter

If it's in Trinidad, would it be easier to sail North West up through
the Caribbean Sea, then the Gulf of Mexico on to Texas and ship it from
there?

I haven't done business with these folks but I met them and looked at
their awesome and incredibly expensive truck. It was kind of a LowBoy
with all hydraulic lifts for an infinitely configurable cradle and
some type of floating keel support to reduce road shock.
Though Fla. based, they were in the pacific NW when we met and said
they haul all over the us.

Why not put it on a yacht transport ship. No horizontal limitations.

I would have to think Trinidad to Panama and then load on a car carrier or
container ship to California would be easier and cheaper than your proposed
route.
