Default What is this?

Stand by to be flamed by the self appointed net nazis for posting
binaries in this group; especially HUGE bandwidth eating photos that
have not been shrunk down to reasonable size.

Looks like a refrigerator magnet to me

When I bought my current boat I found this object in a drawer.

I have found no use for it.

Does anyone know what it is for?

Alec

Me, too. I think it's a magnetic towel rack or hangar. Try sticking it to
the steel on the stove...unless the stove is stainless steel, which isn't
magnetic.

I'd sure keep it on the boat! You only have to drop ONE 12mm socket or
your favorite wrench/screwdriver into the bilge under the engine to make
this baby well worth keeping! Tie a lanyard to its handle and drop it into
the plastic bilge and it will collect all those magnetic tools you, not to
mention the previous owner, dropped over time....(c;

Actually my former* home cooktop was magnetic, 400 series I suspect. You
might take a magnet with you next time you're on the boat and check it. I
would hope it's 316 (non-magnetic) but would be curious if it isn't.
BF

* cooktop is now glass, definitely not magnetic

Sorry I should have shrunk the files.

I also should have said that the centre part is a 'very' strong magnet.

It is too well made to be a fridge magnet.
