The manual for my Tohatsu 2-stroke outboard says not to use gasoline
that has more than 10% ethanol or 5% methanol or all sorts of bad things will happen. Does anyone know of a brand of gasoline in CA that doesn't have alcohol? |

Most brands. MTBE is the additive of choice currently. Union 76 does sell gas with 10% ethanol. -- Jim Hollenback my opinion. |

Maybe marine fuel docks can keep the alcohol-free MTBE free gas, I hope. IIRC some aviation gas is still leaded so it might happen if everybody lobbies their congressman, etc., hard enough. |
