Hi, The club where I can keep the boat on a trailer does not have a ramp. The boat ramp does not have a place I can keep the boat & trailer. Getting it in and out of my yard is tough. I really would like to keep the boat at the club and lauch it with the 2 ton winch. Do you know how / if this can be done? Thanks, Mike Cohen A 2 ton lift would be a bit on the light side for a Catalina 22. Not much safety margin. And you'd be much better off setting up lifting rings on the boat itself than to put slings under it. With slings, you need a big spreader fram to hold the upper ends of the slings in place. One good thing about using a hoist is that you don't get your trailer all rusty. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
