Hi,
The club where I can keep the boat on a trailer does not have a ramp. The boat ramp does not have a place I can keep the boat & trailer. Getting it in and out of my yard is tough. I really would like to keep the boat at the club and lauch it with the 2 ton winch. Do you know how / if this can be done? Thanks, Mike Cohen Brian Whatcott wrote: Why can't you launch from a ramp? Or if you must sling, you could possibly set the slings slightly off center to set the mast angle outwards. Is there something I should know about the whole procedure before I give it a try??? Thanks, Mike Cohen Gary wrote: MikeC wrote: Hi, I just bought a Catalina 22 swing keel. There are no moorings left, but I can dry sail it out of the local club. They have a two ton electric winch which should be more than enough. Many class boats drysail out of the club, but the all are open cockpit with lifting rings. inside. Would it be practical to lauch the Catalina 22 swing keel off the trailer using a canvas bridal that goes around the hull? Thanks, MikeC Yup. |
