Default Louder alarm?

My Raymarine alarm is not loud enough, especially on anchor watch. Has
anybody fitted an external alarm which you might hear before their boat hits
the rocks?

If your unit has "Alarm" terminals on it, you can add buzzer/whistle from
Radio Shack. Check the current allowed from the Raymarine unit, get a
buzzer that is a little less current.

Have a friend that uses one of those battery powered baby alarms that you
stick in the crib. Sets it by his radar.
