Hi Tom,
Christmas Cove is a good spot but it is very crowded. Hard to anchor but there are moorings for rent from the restaurant on the north side of the cove (I forget the name). If you want a quieter place, go a little farther up the river and hook in behind Farnham Point on the west shore of the river by East Boothbay. A few private moorings in there but enough room to anchor out of the current. You can dingy to the Fisherman's Catch (?) restaurant in E. Boothbay for drinks and dinner. Ansley Sawyer SV Pacem |
