Suunto, and even the Casio's are pretty bulky. I'm not real keen on
having a gigantic wrist watch. I'm going for a bulkhead mounted digital barometer, which also does a bunch of other weather functions for about $100, and keep the watches small and waterproof. Luc |

Do not waste your money on a Suunto. My M9 pos has been back for repair
twice in 12 months, talking to other Suunto owners this seems quite normal. The barometer does work well but for over $600!!! Sloooowww GPS fix, compass wildly inaccurate despite swinging it many times etc. Get this major feature, if you plug it in to recharge, it disengages the GPS! What genius came up with that.... Cheers "Chris" wrote in message oups.com... Suunto also makes barometer watches. |

Thanks for all the input. I am focusing on the Cauio watches. there
a a ton with barometers. As an instructor I sail a lot of charter boats that do not have bulhead barometers. I have been hammered a couple of times by lows more severe than forecast.
