Jeannette,
Now I am even more befuddled...I downloaded and installed SoftChart_Viewer....and it only reads charts with the file suffixes of .nos and .geo, which I would guess are the proprietary file formats for that free viewer.. Help... Claus "jeannette" wrote in message ... On Thu, 15 Dec 2005 11:54:30 -0800, "cvj" wrote: Thank you Jeannette! OK - finally figured out what the problem was...I had simply ended up with
the wrong download from NOAA... sigh The "Chartserver" is where the ENC charts are available...and I can read them fine with the free Fugawi viewer.. Cheers, Claus "cvj" wrote in message ... Cheers, Claus Snip That's amusing, I couldn't figure out where you'd managed to download Kap files from the NOAA site. All I could get from there were ENC charts! Kap files in BSB format can be imported and used by Oziexplorer, just for the record! Dennis. |
