Well his English isn't too good, or at least his written English isn't
that good. He's young and unattached, and he could work in the spa
on the ship or in the internet cafe - don't those people get more?

But the clue to me is where he asks 'do you prefer some companies?'

I can't imagine that he could get a job on a regular boat with just
massage and computer skills.
